For added safety, Peruvian law states that you must be able to swim to do river rafting. Also, we operate this during the dry season, from April to November. The water level rises during the rainy season.

We will then hike up the hill for three hours with a stunning view of Santa Teresa valley to the Llactapata archaeological site. It was built by the Incas overlooking Machu Picchu citadel. We will then hike down the hill for an hour and a half with a view of Machu Picchu citadel, to Aobamba. This is where we will be stopping for lunch. After lunch, we will be driving you to Hidroelectrica.
